Pitched, flat, storm damage, insurance work. Send Qenn a photo of the roof from the van or the ladder, with a line on access and what you can see. You get a drafted quote back with materials, labour and VAT worked out. Review, approve, send.
You get a WhatsApp Business number of your own. Customers text the business, not your personal phone.
Up the ladder all day,
quoting all night.
You've surveyed three roofs today - one storm callout, one re-felt, one full retile - and you're trying to remember which one had the cracked ridge tiles and which one needed the extra scaffold day, because you didn't write it down between jobs.
By the time the quote goes out, the homeowner's had someone else up their roof already, or the insurance loss adjuster's chasing you for the estimate you promised on Monday.
A 2026 survey of 1,000 UK small business owners put it at 11 hours a week lost to admin and finance tasks, six working days a month. If that's you, at £50 an hour it's over £26,000 a year of unbillable time - most of it happening after dark, once the ladders are back on the van.
Built for the way
roofers actually work.
Quote from a photo and a line of scope
Photo of the pitch, the flashing, the flat roof felt. One line on access, pitch and what you found. Qenn drafts the quote - materials, scaffold or tower cost, labour, VAT. Two minutes, still on site.
Invoice from a voice note
Job's done, felt's dry, ridge is pointed. Voice note from the van covering what you did and what you used. Qenn drafts the PDF invoice before you're back at the yard.
Every customer, every roof
“When did we last do the Hendersons' flat roof?” Qenn knows. Every job, every material, every price - asked once, never asked again.
Polite payment reminders
Storm jobs and insurance work are the slowest payers. Type “chase the Elm Grove invoice.” Qenn drafts a polite reminder. You review the wording. It goes out.
Why the photo helps
but doesn't finish the job.
A roof photo tells you a lot - missing or slipped tiles, moss and lichen, cracked flashing, the state of a flat roof's surface, roughly the pitch. That's more than a plumber gets from a photo of a tap, and Qenn's vision model is tuned to spot it.
But a photo can't see what's under the felt, whether the timber's rotten, or what the access is really like from the ground. So Qenn asks for the photo and a line of scope together - access, pitch, anything you've already checked - and drafts the quote from both. For anything that clearly needs a proper survey, it'll say so rather than guess.
Setup: about ten minutes,
most of it on Meta’s screens.
Get your number
One Facebook sign-in creates your WhatsApp Business account, and you get a number of your own. Save it to your phone like any other contact.
Text it naturally
“Quote the kitchen photo I just sent.” “Chase the Henderson invoice.” “When am I free Thursday?” No app to learn. No dashboard. No new login.
Review & send
Qenn drafts. You approve. Nothing goes out to a customer without your explicit OK. Always.
“Used to lose half an evening writing up a quote: measuring, typing, looking up materials. Now I send the photo and Qenn drafts the lot. Got my evenings back.”
