Just text it.
Get the paperwork back.
Bathroom refits, boiler swaps, emergency callouts. Tell Qenn the job on WhatsApp - voice note or text, whatever’s quicker with wet hands. You get a drafted quote or invoice back with parts, labour and VAT worked out. Review, approve, send.
You get a WhatsApp Business number of your own. Customers text the business, not your personal phone.
The 11pm callout,
then the invoice you never send.
You’re out at 11pm for a burst pipe, back home by 1am, and knackered. The invoice for that job doesn’t get written for another fortnight - by which point you’ve forgotten which fittings you used and whether it was call-out plus an hour or call-out plus ninety minutes.
Meanwhile the bathroom refit quote from Tuesday is still sat half-written in your head, because you had two more emergencies since then and no time to sit down with a spreadsheet.
A 2026 survey of 1,000 UK small business owners put it at 11 hours a week lost to admin and finance tasks, six working days a month. If that’s you, at £50 an hour it’s over £26,000 a year of unbillable time - most of it lost chasing your own memory of a job you did weeks ago.
Built for the way
plumbers actually work.
Quote from a voice note
Describe the bathroom refit or the boiler swap in a thirty-second voice note on the way to the van. Qenn transcribes it, structures it into parts, labour, VAT and your margin, and drafts the quote. No sitting down at a laptop.
Invoice the same day
Job’s done, tap’s fixed, boiler’s in. Voice note from the drive: what you did, what parts you used, how long it took. Qenn drafts the PDF invoice before you’re back at the yard.
Every customer, every callout
“What did we charge the Pattersons for the combi swap?” Qenn knows. Every job, every price, every part - asked once, never asked again, even for the 2am emergency you barely remember doing.
Polite payment reminders
Emergency jobs are the ones that go unpaid longest - the customer’s relieved, then forgets. Type “chase the Elmwood Road job.” Qenn drafts a polite reminder. You review it, it goes out.
Why we don’t oversell
the photo for plumbing.
A joiner’s photo of a kitchen is a specification - floor area, ceiling height, fire-door ratings, all visible. A plumber’s photo of a leaking tap is a photo of a leaking tap. It tells you there’s a leak. It doesn’t tell you what’s behind the wall, what the pressure’s doing, or what the customer actually wants fixed.
So for plumbing, Qenn leads on what actually works: describing the job by voice note or text, the way you’d explain it on the phone. A photo helps as evidence - the corroded fitting, the water damage - but it’s support for the quote, not the whole quote. You still tell Qenn what you’re actually doing, and it turns that into the paperwork.
Setup: about ten minutes,
most of it on Meta’s screens.
Get your number
One Facebook sign-in creates your WhatsApp Business account, and you get a number of your own. Save it to your phone like any other contact.
Text it naturally
“Quote the kitchen photo I just sent.” “Chase the Henderson invoice.” “When am I free Thursday?” No app to learn. No dashboard. No new login.
Review & send
Qenn drafts. You approve. Nothing goes out to a customer without your explicit OK. Always.
“Used to lose half an evening writing up a quote: measuring, typing, looking up materials. Now I send the photo and Qenn drafts the lot. Got my evenings back.”

The obvious questions.
Can a WhatsApp assistant turn a voice note into a quote?
Yes. Describe the job by voice note or text, the way you would explain it on the phone. Qenn transcribes it, sets it out as parts and labour, works out the VAT if you’re VAT-registered, and drafts the quote for you to check. Nothing goes to the customer until you approve it.
Does Qenn answer my customers for me?
Yes. When a customer messages your Qenn number, Qenn replies, tells them it’s an AI assistant for your business, and asks for what’s missing: what the job is, the address, when suits them. Then it passes the details to you. Prices only ever go out as a quote you’ve approved.
What happens to an enquiry while I’m on a job?
It gets answered. The customer hears back on WhatsApp in minutes rather than at the end of the day, and you get an update on your own WhatsApp with what they need. If they ring your Qenn number instead, Qenn answers the call and sends you a summary.
Can Qenn take an emergency callout enquiry at night?
Yes. Qenn answers messages and calls to your Qenn number at any hour and takes what you need to decide: what has happened, where, and a number to call back. Whether you go out, and what you charge, stays your decision.
Do my customers need to install anything?
No. Everything happens on WhatsApp, where your customers already message you. There’s nothing for them to download and nothing for you to log in to.
