FOR UK PAINTERS & DECORATORS

Just text it.
Get the paperwork back.

Interior repaints, exterior masonry, heritage prep work. Tell Qenn the job on WhatsApp - rooms, prep needed, how many coats, day rate or fixed price. You get a drafted quote back with materials, labour and VAT worked out. Review, approve, send.

You get a WhatsApp Business number of your own. Customers text the business, not your personal phone.

The quote you owe
three customers ago.

You walked round the house on Tuesday - four rooms, a stairwell, and a ceiling that needs three coats of stain block before anything else goes near it. By Friday you've walked round two more houses and the Tuesday one is still a voice memo you haven't listened back to.

Meanwhile the exterior job needs a completely different sum - scaffold days, masonry paint, how many coats the render will actually take - and you're doing it all from memory at the kitchen table.

A 2026 survey of 1,000 UK small business owners put it at 11 hours a week lost to admin and finance tasks, six working days a month. If that's you, at £200 a day it's about £13,000 a year of unbillable time, most of it spent trying to remember what you saw on a job you scoped a week ago.

Built for the way
painters and decorators actually work.

01 / QUOTE

Quote from a voice note

Walk the rooms or the elevation. Describe it in a voice note - surfaces, prep needed, number of coats, day rate or fixed price. Qenn structures it into a drafted quote with materials, labour and VAT.

02 / INVOICE

Invoice from a voice note

Last coat's on and dry. Voice note from the van covering what you did and how many days it took. Qenn drafts the PDF invoice before you've packed the brushes away.

03 / MEMORY

Every customer, every colour

“What shade did we use on the Fieldings' hallway?” Qenn knows. Every job, every colour, every price - asked once, never asked again.

04 / CHASE

Polite payment reminders

Type “chase the Orchard Close invoice.” Qenn drafts a polite reminder. You review the wording. It goes out. No awkward calls, no Sunday nights doing the sums.

Why we don't oversell
the photo for decorating.

A joiner's photo of a kitchen is a specification. A photo of a wall that needs painting is just a photo of a wall - it doesn't show you the flaking distemper underneath, how many coats of stain block the ceiling needs, or what the previous decorator used that's about to cause problems.

So for painting and decorating, Qenn leads on what actually works: describing the job by voice note or text - rooms, surfaces, prep level, coats - the way you'd talk a customer through it on site. A photo helps as backup, but you're still the one telling Qenn what you found when you ran your hand over the wall.

Setup: about ten minutes,
most of it on Meta’s screens.

STEP 1

Get your number

One Facebook sign-in creates your WhatsApp Business account, and you get a number of your own. Save it to your phone like any other contact.

STEP 2

Text it naturally

“Quote the kitchen photo I just sent.” “Chase the Henderson invoice.” “When am I free Thursday?” No app to learn. No dashboard. No new login.

STEP 3

Review & send

Qenn drafts. You approve. Nothing goes out to a customer without your explicit OK. Always.

“Used to lose half an evening writing up a quote: measuring, typing, looking up materials. Now I send the photo and Qenn drafts the lot. Got my evenings back.”
